About Khalil Gibran

Gibran Khalil Gibran was a Lebanese poet, writer and artist renown for his poems, considered rebellious by the Arab world.

Born into a Maronite Catholic family, he was taken to the United States at the age of 12, and received an education at Boston. He is best remembered for The Prophet, which is considered one of the best-selling books of the twentieth century and has never gone out of print since its publication.
